Introducing
Pulch Mag.

Originally founded in 2020, Pulch Mag is a small independent publication for young West Australian artists and writers. We produce print editions and online publications, specialising in works of fiction, poetry and non-fiction. We strive to celebrate the diversity and creativity of young individuals living in WA, providing our emerging artists and writers with opportunities to network alongside fellow creatives and have their works be published.

Pulch Mag started with three young WA creatives, Luisa Mitchell, Jay Anderson and Chris Leopardi, who wanted to make a space for their community to collaborate and a platform for their work.

In 2020, Pulch Mag published writers and artists online. You can still access all of these creative works on our website.

In 2021, we released our inaugural print edition of Pulch with over 25 contributors from all over Western Australia, which received lots of love, praise and support from the community.

In 2022, we released Pulch Issue Two with approximately 21 contributors, which is now available for purchase.

In 2023, Pulch Mag went on hiatus to hand over the publication to a new team and prioritise administrative tasks.

In 2024, we released Pulch Issue Three with 28 contributors, which you can buy now at Crow Books, New Edition, Planet Books and Rabble Books & Games, or through our online store.

As we move onto 2025, we are excited to start production on Pulch Issue Four, so please keep an eye out on our newsletters and socials for updates.
